Project Coordinator

Summary of Job Functions

The Project Coordinator supports the project management with interactions between the client and the operations team. The Project Coordinator works with operations teams to coordinate activities ensuring customer expectations are met.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate material and project shipments on assigned projects
  • Assist with manufacturing batch and analytical method scheduling and planning to facilitate manufacturing activities
  • Maintain ongoing communication with team and clients to understand any project changes, design issues or time/budget constraints that may impact project assignments
  • Keep designated team leader(s) informed of progress; recognize problem issues and communicate impact to team, and seek clarity when necessary
  • Manage document exchanges within Reynaers and between Reynaers and clients
  • Responsible for timely preparation, negotiation, and approval of change orders for assigned projects
  • Generate and issue meeting agendas and draft meeting minutes

Competences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, Project Management, Business
  • Strong proficiency in the English Language
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are required
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint) required
  • Project-oriented and customer-oriented
  • Well developed, detail-oriented, organizational skills
  • Ability to work with junior and experienced engineers to set and achieve goals based on the client’s priorities and project objectives
  • Team player - strong collaboration capabilities, enjoys working in a technical based environment
